Author Guidelines

Authors are encouraged to carefully read these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts to the International Journal of AVGC-XR Design (IJAXD). Submissions that do not comply with the journal's requirements may be returned for revision prior to peer review.

The journal accepts:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Survey Papers

  • Technical Papers

Manuscript preparation

Authors should ensure that manuscripts:

  • Are written in clear and professional English.

  • Are original and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Follow the IJAXD manuscript template.

  • Contain between 4,000 and 8,000 words (excluding references and appendices).

  • Include figures and tables of high quality with appropriate captions.

  • Use SI units where applicable.

Each manuscript should contain:

  • Title

  • Abstract (150–250 words)

  • 3–6 Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review (where appropriate)

  • Methodology

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

  • Funding Statement

  • Conflict of Interest Declaration

  • References

Formatting requirements

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)

  • Page numbering: Bottom center

  • Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and cited within the text.

Refrence style:  IEEE Reference Style.

Double-blind review

To ensure an impartial review process, authors must submit:

  • Title Page: Author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs (optional), corresponding author details, acknowledgements, funding information, and conflict of interest statement.

  • Blinded Manuscript: A version of the manuscript that contains no identifying information about the authors or their institutions.

Ethical requirements

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.

  • All listed authors have contributed significantly to the work.

  • Ethical approval has been obtained where required.

  • All funding sources and conflicts of interest are disclosed.

  • Data presented are accurate and have not been fabricated or manipulated.

Submission process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the IJAXD Online Journal System (OJS). Authors should upload all required files, complete the submission metadata, and confirm that the manuscript complies with the journal's policies before final submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
